Writing:

I have written for God’s Word for Today, Caffeinated Thoughts, and this blog.  Like any other fledgling writer, I have about six book ideas in various stages of development.  I’m sure one of them will sell as many copies as Rick Warrens as soon as they are finished. (right).

Hope you enjoy my work! I’d love to hear your thoughts.

  2. Hey Shawn,

Can you tell me more about kayaking Mark Twain Lake? What did you need to get to do that. Did youhave to get a boating license? Did you need any safety gear? We want to go kayak the lake, but I’m not sure what we’d need.

    • Hi Emily, It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Mark Twain so don’t hold me to my following advice 🙂 From what I know, you do not need a boating license nor does your kayak need to be registered/tagged. I believe you DO need to have life preservers to meet state law (and just a smart thing for safety’s sake). We own our own kayaks. If you don’t have any, you may be able to rent them at the Marina. If you do that, they’ll have everything you need. Take sun screen! Or you’ll have lobster legs. Have fun and thanks for stopping by my blog!

  3. Shawn, I did not know you had all of this on line. I’ m blessed. Thanks for communicating in such a fresh and simple way. Keep it up. Dick

  4. By the way, I will be happy to loan you a set of books I found in an “antique store” that is the complete works of Mark Twain. I have read most of them and I think you would enjoy some of his lesser known stuff.

  5. I thought I’d see what you’ve been up to since you haven’t logged anything in a long while on BT. Glad to see that you are having a wonderful life.
